UGO reports that film producer JC Spink wants singer Alicia Keys to play Agent 355 in Y: The Last Man, the film adaptation of the comic book series that details the exploits of the last guy on earth.
“I think Alicia Keys would be fantastic,” he said. “Or Zoe Saldana. By then Star Trek will be out and she’ll be huge. I don’t think Jada Pinkett Smith would be right but a lot of people like her”.
As for rumors circulating Shia LaBeouf’s involvement, Spink commented that they are trying to get him on board.

I really hope that Alicia Keys will get this role. She is a great actress in all of her previous movies. If they don’t pick Alicia Keys for this roll then they are making the biggest mistake of their lives. I love Alicia Keys more than anybody could ever love her.
