Alicia Keys says her manager is always messing with her, asking her if she thinks the Mighty Ducks or the Penguins will win the Super Bowl. Keys says, “He thinks I know nothing about football, when, in truth, I don’t.”

Keys will perform as part of the pre-game entertainment at the Super Bowl. Keys says her approach is to “take you by your neck and demand that you watch me.”

Jordin Sparks will sing the national anthem. Sparks is the daughter of former NFL player Phillippi Sparks.

She told him, “Dad! I’m singing at the Super Bowl!” and his reply was, “At least 1 of us made it.”
