Yesterday, I got the chance to go see the exclusive showcase of Alicia in Holland and meet her afterwards in her hotel. The showcase was in a small nightclub with approximately 300 people. First, we were shown a carreer overview and a few moments later Alicia showed up, in a pink-red vest, a jeans and gorgeous high heels. She started off her flawless performance with “The Thing About Love”, “Sure Looks Good To Me”, “Superwoman”, “No One” and “Fallin’”. She talked, made jokes and after her performance she also had a Q&A-moment with the audience.
After the showcase, a small amount of lucky people (including me!) were guided to her hotel, just a few minutes away from the nightclub.
We were divided into groups of 4 people and entered a large room, including Alicia of course, her mother Terri, a photographer and two people of her management.
I was so excited to meet her! I told her about Alicia Keys Zone, talked a little bit more, let her sign something for the site (see logo!) and took a group picture, which I hope will be available soon in my inbox..
Afterwards she thanked me personally for the site and we had to leave the room :-)
It’s been so great to see her again after so long and I can’t wait ’till the tour!

That is so amazing! Wow, I am just in awe at what she’s done for the website! I love Alicia Keys. That was so sincere of her to do for you Tash. Haha, though its been..lol 7 years, one of these years I will get the opportunity to meet Alicia as well! This rocks! You should be very proud of what you’ve accomplished with this website Tash! ;-)
